Paying your rent
Rent payment
Although we manage the properties on behalf of Hackney Council, tenants still pay rent directly to the Council. There are several ways to pay your rent:
- Online: make secure, online payments at https://www.civicaepay.co.uk/HackneyEstore/estore/default/Catalog/Index
- Set up an automated payment: set up a Direct Debit or Standing order with your bank or building society and never worry about missing a payment
- Local shops: use your PayPoint card at any shop or Post Office displaying the PayPoint sign
- By phone: call Hackney Council’s 24 hour payment line on 020 8356 5050
- In person: pay by cash, debit or credit card at Hackney self-service payment centre – 2 Hillman Street, Hackney, London, E8 1FB Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. Remember you will need your rent account number for reference when making a payment.
- At your bank:
ask your bank to send the payment to Lloyds bank:
– Account number: 00641877
– Sort code: 30-00-02
Remember to include your housing rent account number as the reference.
